Provider approval & verification
What provider approval means
Effective date: 29 September 2026 Version: 2026-09-29-v1
Mek Mi Help reviews provider applications by service category. Approval means that the provider has satisfied the marketplace requirements applied to that category at the time of review. It is not a guarantee of future conduct, workmanship, honesty or suitability for every job.
Application review
Depending on the category, review may consider account and contact information, service experience, references, service areas, category-specific questions, Provider Standards acknowledgement, and licences, registrations or permits where applicable. Not every category requires every item.
What approval does not mean
Provider approval is not the same as a universal criminal-background check. Mek Mi Help only describes a particular identity, background, licence, registration or permit check when that specific check has actually been completed and can be supported.
Regulated services
Providers remain responsible for holding and maintaining any licence, registration, permit or other credential required by law for the service they offer. Customers should consider what credentials are relevant to their particular job and ask reasonable questions before work begins.
Ongoing responsibility
Approval reflects the information and requirements considered at the time of review. Providers must keep relevant information current and follow the Provider Standards and Community Guidelines.
Safeguarded tutoring eligibility
Ordinary provider approval or acceptance of Provider Standards does not by itself confer safeguarded tutoring eligibility. The current identity, background, safeguarding and category-competence requirements must all remain satisfied. Mek Mi Help does not promise continuous monitoring or guarantee safety.
Making an informed choice
Review the provider's approved categories, service information, completed-job feedback and the needs of your job. Read the Safety & Trust information before making arrangements.
